Upon graduation he went to work for Community Mortgage Group and served clients there for three years. Michael left to pursue his own mortgage business, Ultra Mortgage Group, with friend and colleague Jeff Kraft.
When not meeting new clients Michael is probably participating in one of his many community activities such as Business Network International where he is the current Tiger Team President or making his mark as a member of the Columbia Kiwanis Club. On the weekends Michael is always sure to schedule time with his little brother whom he met as a volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Michael has also worked on continuing to better himself and his business through continuing education as a graduate of Sandler Sales Institute Presidents Club.
Among all these activities he still finds time to take part in outdoor recreation such as playing a few rounds of golf, running or walking with his soon-to-be wife, Monica, and their black lab mix, Maybe.Jeff moved to Columbia in 1998 starting in the mortgage business soon after. In 2005 he started his own mortgage business, Ultra Mortgage Group, with friend and colleague Michael Pitts.
As a member of Columbia Chamber of Commerce and an affiliate member of the Columbia board of realtors, Jeff spends his evenings socializing and networking. He also makes time to lend a hand in the Columbia community by volunteering for the optimist club and the Phoenix House.
To better himself and his business Jeff has chosen to attend continuing education and is a graduate of Sandler Sales Institute Presidents Club.
Jeff has a 12-year-old daughter, Maddisson, and a brindal mastiff, Sam. In what free time he can find, Jeff enjoys staying active by golfing and playing tennis. On the weekends and the occasional evening Jeff works on rehabilitating houses.

This is why I became a Mortgage Consultant, I know firsthand what it is like to be taken advantage of by a Predatory Lender and it cost me dearly. I vowed to learn the Home Mortgage Business so that I can prevent my costly and painful experience from becoming your costly and painful experience!
